let me begin by saying gusssssshhhhhh. daiva and tim's wedding was infused with personal touches & emotion from beginning to end, and that's just what i adore documenting. not only was the minocqua location meaningful, the priest was a longtime friend, the traditions were rooted in daiva's family's lithuanian culture (the sashes! the krupnika! the singing and dancing! the cake!), the hammock references were aplenty (they got engaged in one), the light in the northwoods was perfectly ON POINT, and both tim and daiva and their parents were the most welcoming people one could hope for. and on and on i could go. it was a long day of coverage for a photographer, but i ended the night revived rather than exhausted. a testament to everything and everyone.
