fuji xpro-3

documentary family session in the outer sunset, san francisco

i spent nearly a week mid-summer in a city that has meant so much to me my entire adult life. treated to the generosity of dear friends, homemade arepas, ocean walks and golden gate park walks and coffee walks, smelling the eucalyptus, watching the pelicans fly in tune with the sunset, crying on the beach watching said sunset, making new friends, fresh beignets on the sidewalk and pizza and music under a tree-sized rubber plant. every california flower in-bloom. the days were simple, we stayed in the neighborhood because why leave. i was testing out my new fuji gear while there and these are some of the first photos taken on it. irretrievably in love with fuji’s haptic experience … bye bye, canon.

i’ve been documenting my dear friends rachelle + lex for about a decade now … it was nothing short of amazing to meet their family’s latest addition, luis, and to share so many days, meals, conversations and laughs together. all the love ♥︎
