i left this wedding feeling like i made new friends. jayne and scott’s genuine hearts and sweet spirits just lit me up inside. they trusted me AND they had a dog named bernie sanders! i mean … what else could you really ask for? they knew what mattered and made sure to focus on those things … family, friends, each other. the firehouse chicago is a super cool and unique wedding venue nestled right in the andersonville neighborhood. bonus that it’s super close to loyola beach, where we took a quick retreat for some photos in the blazing sun.

this was an uncharacteristically warm late october day—simply gorgeous. jayne and scott were lucky enough to have their ceremony and cocktail hour outside before heading inside for a memorable fire pole entrance, food truck dinner, and dancing. i loved this entire day.
