ah, there were so many lovely & wonderful things about this wedding. the emotion, the setting, helena's dress (seriously though, that dress!), donnie the doodle. but my favorite element, perhaps, was all the history involved. not only did helena's grandparents also get married at the nashotah house, but helena's dad oversaw the restoration of both the ceremony site and the reception venue, the milwaukee county historical society.
but actually, nevermind. my favorite part of this day by far was helena and rich. what a couple. kind, warm, upbeat, and go-with-the-flow.
congrats, helena and rich! there is so much more to come, but here is a little preview to enjoy for now. i hope thailand is amazing!
