when sydney and alex contacted me about shooting their wedding, i was super excited. i'd been following sydney for years on social media, and knew she was a super sweet, artistic and talented gal. when we all skyped, and they expressed they wanted everyone—including the wedding professionals—to feel like friends on their wedding day, i was struck by their warmth and kindness. as it turns out, both sydney and alex are artistic and talented. they are putting so much heart and personality into their wedding celebration that i'm simply on the edge of my seat.
i loved documenting these two in their incredibly cool printer's row home & neighborhood with their sweet dog dill. it's so nice when i can capture a couple in their element, doing what they do when nobody's watching—making art, playing music, mixing drinks. i could clearly see sydney and alex's love and deep admiration for one another. i wanted to blog every image from this session, but that would be excessive, haha. so here are just a few. enjoy <3
