it's obvious why an indian wedding is a photographer's dream. at least for any photographer who loves color, movement, life, energy, joy, abandon, dancing in the streets, and style. or a groom riding a white horse with the chicago botanic garden as a backdrop ... certainly a dream. i immediately adored ethan and tara and their sweetness and legit laid-back-ness. they were so lovely to be around ... the day never felt long, despite the fact indian weddings ARE long. i was entranced, too, by the ceremony and all the ritual. it was beautiful.
the friday night events [mehndi and sangeet] were also colorful and exciting ... but in favor of not overloading my site's bandwidth, i've only blogged saturday's events ;)
a great team of vendors helped make the day what it was. i'd happily work with any of them again: chicago botanic garden [venue], clementine custom events [coordinator], and utsav creations [florist].
