it doesn't get more intimate than having a ceremony so small your photographer signs the marriage certificate. although i met them mere moments before they exchanged vows, i felt like i had known codie + ben for ages. they were just that warm, inviting, and kind.
codie + ben will celebrate their marriage with a larger ceremony and party later this year, but for now, they made it official with just a friend and their parents (codie's on facetime) gathered under a marble arch. it was as sweet as they are. i really enjoyed my time with them on one of madison's coldest days, and i cannot wait to document their continued wedding story into warmer weather ahead.
