we definitely set a record with this session. rained-out (at least) twice before we decided to just go for it … and then, with zero percent chance of rain in the forecast, just 10 minutes into our session … complete and total, unrelenting downpour. we got a ride to a local bar, where we enjoyed beers and conversation before venturing into the weather for some fun umbrella shots. a few days later we picked up where we left off, with a gorgeous sunrise session on lake michigan. despite all the back-and-forth, i am so happy it turned out the way it did.
sasha and jimmy were so incredibly chill and go-with-the-flow throughout the whole process that i’m simply thrilled to be working with them for their madison wedding this coming summer. i rarely post engagement sessions these days … but i love all the variety these two worked-in … and i love the different vibe/mood created by the contrast of a rainy evening and sunny morning … so have a look :)
